About the Kitchen
Poindexter’s Kitchen is the collection of problems and their solutions that I have encountered while attempting to create software and other pursuits. There is no defined space or framework that is represented here because I use whatever I need to accomplish the goal whether it be Python, JavaScript, C#, etc. It’s all about creating something or combining things to make something that didn’t exactly exist.

Poindexter from Felix the Cat
My name is not actually Poindexter, it is a moniker that I have assumed because it best represents the part of me that I was ashamed of for a very long time. I was not the typical youngster nor am I the typical adult (What is typical?). Poindexter characterizes me as a person who enjoys learning and experimenting.

Walter
I am a college-taught Electrical Engineer and self-taught Software Engineer with some Project Management sprinkled in from experience. I enjoy the challenge of a problem, however I was ineffective at documenting the problems and their solutions that I encountered. Hence, Poindexter’s Kitchen is my latest attempt to do a better job.
The kitchen is a place where many ideas are crafted and problems solved, whether it is what’s for dinner, how can I bake a cake, or I need help with homework. The kitchen is a place of experimentation and testing out new ideas or recipes. It is a place that everyone is familiar with and the place a lot of time is spent in. So in Poindexter’s Kitchen ideas will be examined and problems will be solved. This is the record of those activities.
